ADA welcomes Brynna Malley as our new JR/YR chair!  Here's a little about Brynna:

I began taking riding lessons when I was 5 with my mom and we made the switch to dressage when I was 7. I first started getting involved with ADA when I attended their schooling shows as a new rider to dressage. I quickly became involved in volunteering and attending many of the ADA events and am very grateful to receive this opportunity to be the new Jr/Yr chair! My belief is that the more opportunities provided for our juniors and riders, the better! It's important to educate and guide the future of dressage, and it's organizations like ADA that help juniors build friendships that last a lifetime!

We have made some changes to our weekend with Kristi Wysocki.  The judges education was not filling as expected so we have extended the riding clinic an additional day.

Riders are welcome to register for an additional day and we have room to accomodate wait listed riders and horses.  If you wish to ride an additional horse this may now be possible.

    Thank you!

Welome to Bailey Wideman who has volunteered for the position of JR/YR Chair!

Bailey is a lifelong horsewoman and supporter of the Alamo Dressage Association. Professionally, Bailey is a Staff Attorney for the Department of Public Safety in the Office of General Counsel. After graduating from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2020, she was a compliance officer at a financial firm before briefly working in private practice.

Bailey has a long membership history with ADA, including being voted Volunteer of the Year in 2015. She grew up attending, showing, and volunteering at ADA organized events, including earning her USDF Bronze and Silver medals at ADA shows. She is excited about the opportunity of being the Jr/Yr chair because she believes young rider preparation, education, and accessibility is paramount. She is dedicated to helping the next generation develop in an organization so close to her heart.

Bailey is a San Antonio native. She also has two horses of her own, Joy snd Posey, both in preparation for the 2024 season. She is thrilled to be on the board.

The Alamo Dressage Summer Social and Used Tack Sale Extravaganza is less than 2 weeks away! The sale will be incredible with close to 500 quality items! WOW! Additionally, Iron Horse Trading Company will be there with a trailer full of equestrian-inspired goods! Think about buying those Christmas gifts. Susan McGinnis will bring her saddle-fitting expertise and a trailer full of saddles and other tack.

IN LIGHT OF THE EXTRAORDINARY HEAT WE ARE EXPERIENCING, THE EVENT HAS BEEN RELOCATED TO THE HAMPTON INN IN BULVERDE AT 499 SINGING OAKS, SPRING BRANCH, TX 78070. We will have a spacious, AIR CONDITIONED banquet room to house all the tack items and tables for dining and catching up with friends.

The Social will provide a delicious BBQ lunch served buffet-style. Water and sodas will be provided. We ask that you bring a side dish or dessert with a serving utensil. Alcoholic beverages will not be allowed due to TABC rules.

What are you waiting for??? What could be more fun than shopping, eating, and talking about horses? Register today on the Alamo Dressage Association website! A good headcount will help us know how much BBQ to order and how many dining tables we need.

Bring your appetite and cash, checkbook, or credit card!

If you have let others know about this event that may not be on our mailing list, please forward this email with the location change to them.
