This event is sponsored by our Junior/Young Riders so priority will be given to riders 21 and under.  Adults are welcome if room permits. 

Ride your test, get feedback from the judge, then ride your test again! Classical dressage, western dressage, and eventing tests.

Schedule:

  • 8am - 12pm - Christin Rivlin (upper level rides will be scheduled in AM)
  • 12pm - 4pm - Arlene Gaitan

Rider Fee:

  • ADA Members: $25 per test
  • Non-Members: $50 per test

Auditors welcome! Fee:

  • ADA Members: $10
  • Non-Members: $20   

Christine Rivlin is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist, a USDF Certified Instructor through fourth level, and a USDF "L" graduate.  For 28 years Christine  had a dressage training business in Northern California with 25-40 training horses. She is semi-retired from professionally training and showing but has 2 horses including a Dutch I2 horse, (Kallini) and an Oldenburg, 4th level horse (Fenix).

Arlene Gaitan is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist, USDF "L" Graduate, and USEF "r" Dressage Technical Delegate.  Arlene originally began her dressage career in Virginia and moved to Texas over 30 years ago.  Arlene judges many schooling dressage shows and eventing shows throughout Texas.   Arlene is semi-retired from showing and owns a Dutch/Andalusian  cross, AS Leandro, aka Leo, who is just a trail horse for now, and two minis, Macaroni and Duchess.
