Ila Nell Handy is a dressage trainer located in Boerne, TX. She is a USDF bronze, silver and silver freestyle bar medalist. She is enrolled in the USDF instructor/trainer program as a candidate for certification through 3/4 level (and is eagerly awaiting her testing!). She strives to teach and train adhering to classical dressage methods, and to incorporate the pyramid of training in the development of happy horse athletes and confident, effective riders. Her mentors include Volker Brommann (who she has ridden with since a teenager), Kristin Stein and Ali Brock. She takes lessons weekly herself and is committed to a path of lifelong learning and in turn sharing the knowledge she has received.
