Alamo Dressage Announces 2011 Schooling Show Championship
Head to Head Competition!
In October 2011, ADA will host a head to head schooling show championship. This
is a great opportunity for amateur and junior riders as well as those new to dressage to experience championship competition without spending a lot of money! It is also an opportunity for the seasoned competitor to polish their tests before the USDF/SWDC Region 9 Championships in November. Scores to qualify can be obtained at any schooling show beginning September 1,
2010 through August 31, 2011. The date and location of the championship show will be announced at a later date. For more information on qualifying, and championship rules click here!
ADA Fall Recognized Show results are now available.
Saturday 28th Sunday 29th
Congratulations to all!
July Schooling Show Results are posted here!
ADA pulled off another successful show! Leigh Olejer did a terrific job as show manager and made sure every detail was taken care of. Ft. Sam was a great facility and our hostess, Cindy Tripoli and staff made us feel welcome! Ashley Hammill was a terrific judge and kept her cool despite the show secretary (me) copying the wrong USEA tests! Thanks to all the competitors and volunteers for making the show a great success! K. Laurie Virkstis again took pictures. Check them out at her web site http://www.laurievirkstis.com/ADA-Show-Fort-Sam-Houston-Tx

June Schooling Show Results are posted here!
The June show was a great success. The weather cooperated and despite the heat a breeze blessed us every now and then. Lolly and Bill Perry were wonderful hosts; their farm was a beautiful setting and Bill's burgers were a hit! Brenda McCall was our judge and was friendly and great to work with. We had two winners of the wacky tie contest, Erin Brewer and a friend won the Spurs folding chair, BBQ apron and flashlight. A big thanks to our volunteers: Bill Eash, Jody Carlson, Doug Christiansen, Karen and Kassidy Peacock, Jamyn Rosser, Gaby Perkins, Cel Cox and Cheryl and Rebecca Harlin. Without volunteers the show would not be possible! Thanks also to Laurie Virkstis who came to take photos. There are some great shots from the show.
