Volunteer Hours Update
Members need 8 volunteer hours to be eligible for Year-End awards and the free clinic with Brad Cutshall.  See if you have 8 hours here.  If you are not on the list contact Deb Peterson.  For volunteer opportunities at the Junior Clinic and Schooling Show Championships, contact Tracy Augustine.

Schooling Show Championships Update    
The schooling show championships and fall open schooling show will be held on Saturday, November 17 at the Kendall County Youth Agricultural & Equestrian Center.  Because the facility does not have stabling this will be a one day show. There is plenty of trailer parking.  Prize list will be available at the end of Sept/beginning of October! Come join us!

Spring Recognized Show Update
The spring recognized show will be held at the Uvalde County Fairplex on March 30-31, 2019.  The facility is just under 2 hours from the SA airport on highway 90. It is an easy drive! There are two large arenas, 200 stall, big a** fans throughout the facility and air conditioned bathrooms!  Plenty of RV spaces, hotels and restaurants.  We will be introducing a new freestyle award in memory of Rebecca Snell including PRIZE MONEY!  Come join us at this beautiful facility!

Year End Awards - Important Update
ADA is waiving the requirement to submit scores from ADA competitions to be eligible for year end awards.  This applies to all the award programs. This decision was made in light of the cancelling of our September show. Deadline is November 26.

Junior Clinic with Kathy Rowse, USEF "S" Judge.
October 20-21, Retama Equestrian Center
ADA welcomes Kathy Rowse, a USDF Bronze, Silver, and Gold Medalist. Kathy is also a USEF “S” judge and a member of the USDF “L” faculty. Kathy trains for correct basics and biomechanics. She is positive and articulate and her instruction will prove to be an asset to anyone interested in participating.  This clinic is open to all ADA junior members and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. The clinic will consist of two rides and will cost $150.  Auditors are absolutely welcome! $15/day or $20/weekend. To sign up contact Tracy Augustine, 830.388.0451, tracy_augustine@yahoo.com.
